DiMassimo Goldstein is proud to announce that NYC-based president, Lee Goldstein has been named to Direct Marketing News’ 2014 list of ‘40 Under 40’. The Direct Marketing News editorial team selected Lee from the brightest and most ambitious professionals in the integrated, digital, and traditional direct marketing fields from across agencies, brands and vendors.
Lee joined DiMassimo Goldstein in 1998 at the tender age of 22 as new business manager and was promoted to president in 2005. In the 16 years since he joined the DiMassimo Goldstein family, Lee has been hugely instrumental in driving its brand direct growth strategy by targeting brands and businesses that are primed for tremendous growth. With a focus on innovative companies, often in new or rapidly changing categories, many of his clients spearheaded the “disrupt” decade and have since become the industry’s largest advertisers.
Mark DiMassimo, DiMassimo Goldstein co-founder and chief said, “I couldn’t be more proud of my partner of over 16 years, Lee Goldstein, and of DMNews for recognizing Lee as one of the most promising and accomplished marketers around.”
In the last year, Lee helped DiMassimo Goldstein push beyond it’s core of creative, strategy and media into research and insights, design, film, media relations and social media, and in the process formed an integrated micro-network of marketing disciplines.
In addition to his responsibilities as president, Lee helped to pioneer the agency’s Tappening movement, which encourages consumers to drink tap water instead of buying bottled water, as well as it’s Offlining movement, which promotes periodic brief digital fasts to encourage face-to-face human interactions.
